After a hilarious week of watching and rewatching all the entries, MCA founders Ed and Tamara have selected their favourite acts to progress to the heats. Due to the extraordinarily high standard of quality and large number of entries, we decided to increase our number of acts competing from 40 to 48. We also had to make some very tough decisions, sometimes choosing to give unknown acts a chance over acts that we have had the pleasure of hosting before. There are also a few acts who obviously possess strong comedic talent and are already making waves/kicking ass but are not really music-based comedians compared to other acts entering. So sorry that we could not squeeze you in! If you are not on the list below, we thank you so much for entering and are sorry that we couldn’t involve you this time around.
